Dr. Shahrestany built Studio City Dental Arts from scratch in 2012, making every effort to create an environment that prioritizes patient safety, care, and comfort while minimizing environmental impact. She is happy to help dental patients of all ages, from school age kids to the elderly, receive the dedicated dentistry treatments they need to enjoy lifelong dental health. Healthcare is in Dr. Shahrestany’s blood, being the daughter of a family physician and a midwife. She saw the importance of these services from a very young age and how they could change lives for the better. Today, she still loves creating new smiles and meeting awesome people through her work! She completed dental school in 1999 and spent a decade working with a number of well-known Southern California dental offices before founding her practice. Additionally, Dr. Shahrestany constantly attends continuing education courses in order to elevate her skills and keep them as up-to-date as possible. She has nearly two decades of experience in the field overall. She is currently a member of the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Outside of work, Dr. Shahrestany and her husband have a daughter named Mila and a son named Cameron. She enjoys going to concerts, seeing plays, hiking, enjoying nature, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Skiing is still one of her favorite sports, and she’s also passionate about beautiful design and architecture. Recently, she also participated in a dental mission trip to Guatemala.
