Dr Mina Abalos

Dr. Mina Abalos brings a heartfelt dedication to dentistry shaped by her upbringing, her family’s dental experiences, and her passion for helping patients protect and preserve their natural smiles. Born and raised in Cerritos, California, just steps from Disneyland, she grew up in a fast-paced, family-oriented community—one that later influenced her warm, joyful approach to patient care. Her first job was at the Disneyland, where she worked at Autopia and helped guide crowds during parades. While the theme park was her first workplace, she always knew her true calling lay in dentistry. Dr. Abalos earned her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. She has been practicing dentistry since 2009. Patients appreciate Dr. Abalos’ gentle, thoughtful manner and her ability to put children and adults at ease.
