Dr. Rafael Urbino is a South Florida native. He earned his Dental Medicine Doctor (DMD) degree from the University of Florida in 2004. Subsequently he completed a Post-Doctoral Residency at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville FL, where he received advanced training in special needs and hospital dentistry. He also completed training in Moderate Sedation Anesthesia (“I.V. Sedation”) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Urbino is a member of the medical staff at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he performs dental and oral surgery for persons with special needs under anesthesia. He is also involved in the oral-dental care for patients with Head & Neck Cancers.
