My name is Dr. Naomi Hersh and as my accent will reveal, I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I escaped to Baltimore, MD where I attended Goucher College and later the University of Maryland Dental School. Good pizza drew me back to Brooklyn where I did my residency in general practice at the Brooklyn VA Hospital. During my time at the Veterans Hospital I developed a profound respect for those individuals who serve our country. I was working in a practice in Brooklyn Heights when I met and married my husband. We moved to Stamford and had two wonderful children who are now grown and have provided us with dividends (grandchildren). As a child I found going to the dentist a terrifying experience. I became a dentist so that my patients will not endure the discomfort and fear that I experienced. My office is designed to feel homey and relaxing, a place where "everyone knows your name." My incredible staff is friendly and warm including my dog Anna who comforts and entertains.
