Dr Ireni Barounis

Dr. Ireni Barounis received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Boston University. After graduating from college and prior to receiving her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Barounis spent two years working as an orthodontic assistant, trained by a very well-known and distinguished orthodontist. After receiving her DMD, she furthered her training by completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Family Health Center of Worcester. Working in an underserved population she gained immense experience in all aspects of dentistry including endodontics and oral surgery. Dr. Barounis prides herself on offering customized care to each and every one of her patients. Her patient-first approach is built on mutual trust and respect for the needs and preferences of each individual and excellent personalized communication skills. She believes that the mouth is a gateway to total body wellness.
