Dr. Meriwether spent her early childhood in Beaumont, TX before moving to the Metro Detroit area as a teenager. After graduating from Ferndale High School, Dr. Meriwether was recruited to play volleyball at Kentucky State University where she graduated with honors in Biology. Dr. Meriwether earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018. During her time there she spent many hours doing volunteer work, served as president for the Student National Dental Association, as well as tutored fellow dental students in aesthetics and operative dentistry. Dr. Meriwether spent the last three and a half years working for the National Health Service Corps while continuing to provide dentistry on a volunteer basis throughout Michigan and Indiana, she even spent time in the Philippines with ISLP Philippines Service Learning providing care to the underserved community of Cebu. Recently she decided to make the move back to Michigan to continue growing in dentistry.
