Dr. Behdin received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. After relocating to Michigan, she completed an advanced training in periodontics at the University of Michigan as a research fellow. Subsequently, she completed her three-year Periodontics residency program at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland and earned a Master of Science Degree. Currently, she is an active member of American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and American Academy of Periodontology. She believes patients’ welfare, needs, and satisfaction are the fundamental elements in dentistry and periodontics. Her goal is to educate patients to promote oral health and well-being daily. Dr. Behdin has several publications and several projects under review. Her area of interest in research is periodontal disease and other systemic diseases such as major cancers. Dr. Behdin lives in Michigan with her family. She enjoys traveling with her family, watching movies, and listening to music.
