Dr. David M. Karas was born in the Chicago area and has resided here his entire life. He received his undergraduate and dental degrees from Loyola University and has been practicing in the Oak Brook and Elmhurst areas since 1987. His practice has focused on implant dentistry from the beginning and he has received extensive postgraduate training, including a one-year training course sponsored by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Karas has been deeply involved in the evolution of implant dentistry as a consultant to an implant manufacturer and teaching hundreds of dentists in the United States and abroad on how to practice the surgical and restorative techniques of implant dentistry. Dr. Karas is proud of his commitment to restore and maintain optimum dental health for his patients by listening to patients concerns, offering through education and developing recommendations that meet and exceed their goals and expectations. Dr. Karas enjoys his two dogs, traveling and spending time at his Arizona desert retreat.
