Dr Jim Skoumal

Dr. Skoumal was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa where he participated as an Eagle Scout with BSA and swam on the high school team before heading to California for his undergraduate and dental degrees. After graduating from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, Dr. Skoumal worked in southern New Mexico until deciding to return to the Midwest to be closer to his family. He is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society and regularly attends the DuPage County Study Club meetings to advance his skills. His practice philosophy focuses on providing precise, high quality care with special attention on patient comfort. When not in the dental office he can be found in the outdoors, camping, hiking or skiing as the weather permits.
