Dr. McKissock was raised in Central Florida and graduated from Edgewater High School before attending the Citadel. After earning his degree there, he went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He then completed a residency in advanced general dentistry at Fort Carson in Colorado, where he published an award-winning article in the Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. McKissock received advanced cosmetic training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Pankey Institute. He served as a dentist in the US military at Fort Stewart, GA, with deployment to Kuwait. In 2007, he became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He completed the one-year MaxiCourse in implant dentistry through New York University and recently completed level 3 of the Resnik Institute implant curriculum. In 2002, Dr. McKissock founded Windermere Dentistry.
