Dr. Berk has been practising dentistry since 1991. She was drawn to dentistry's ability to improve one's self-esteem with a beautiful smile. Dr. Berk received the Arthur E Iwerson Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. As a participating NSTEP member, she advocates cessation of tobacco products. She is a Smiles for Life volunteer and Crown Council member, contributing to children's charities. Awards include Troy Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year 2008 and Give Back Award 2017. Credentials include Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Troy Chamber of Commerce member since 1992, and Internet Dental Alliance member.
