Dr. Jaime Welsh grew up in Columbia, Missouri where her passion for dentistry was sparked by her father who had put a bug in her ear about being a dentist. Her Grandfather was a dentist and her father always wanted his kids to go to dental school too. Dr. Welsh spent some time in high school and undergraduate school shadowing dentists and dental specialties, and that is when she fell in love with the profession. She earned her bachelors of science in health and administration policy at Creighton University. From there she went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University and complete a two-year General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, NY where she served as chief resident. Dr. Welsh’s dental philosophy is to treat every patient like they are family. It is very important to her that her patients feel comfortable and cared for.
