Dr. Colón was born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey. During high school, she participated in a work-study program that allowed her to work as a dental assistant in a local practice. That early hands-on experience sparked her passion for dentistry and confirmed her desire to pursue it as a lifelong career. After graduating high school in 1998, Dr. Colón attended Montclair State University, where she became one of the first students accepted into the university’s combined eight-year BS/DMD program. This unique opportunity granted her early admission to the New Jersey Dental School in her junior year. Dr. Colón earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Montclair State University in 2002 and went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UMDNJ–New Jersey Dental School in 2006. To further enhance her clinical skills, she completed an additional year of post-doctoral training at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Miami. “Dentistry has been an incredibly rewarding career, and I truly enjoy helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. I love serving the Orange City community and providing personalized care to each of my patients. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, taking salsa classes, and spending time with my family.”
