Dr. Curtis Moore is a native of the state of South Carolina. He grew up around the capital city of Columbia. He aspired to become a dentist early on during high school due to his personal experience with braces and how it gave him the confidence to embrace his smile. He attended his undergraduate education at Presbyterian College and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2010. Unfortunately, with the current events at that time, Dr. Moore chose to detour from dentistry and succeeded in his first career of 7 years as a Nuclear Chemist, where he trained and lead shift teams at a nuclear power facility outside of Columbia, SC. Soon, the pursuit of becoming a dentist became more focused in his life with the support of his family. Dr. Moore was accepted and received his dental training at the Dental College of Georgia, located in Augusta, Georgia. Shortly after receiving his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Moore moved to Jacksonville to provide comprehensive dental services for the area. To further enhance the oral health for patients, Dr. Moore has accumulated multiple hours of post-graduate continuing education to provide the most optimal treatments resulting from evidence-based research and state-of-the art technology. Dr. Moore is a member of the Florida Dental Association and Northeast Florida Dental Association. Dr. Moore seeks to apply his experiences in dentistry and life by providing for the surrounding communities, while enjoying all of the activities that the Sunshine State has to offer.
