Dr. Armstrong entered the dental field because it presents a plethora of opportunities for experience and exploration, such as leadership, communication with peers and patients, scientific knowledge, and the combination of creativity and artistic hand skills. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is giving people more confidence in their smiles and seeing bigger smiles from happiness. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Armstrong enjoys outdoor activities, watching movies, working out, and exploring new places with her husband. She loves animals and plants, especially orchids! Dr. Armstrong is from Venezuela, where she earned her degree in Dentistry at the University of Los Andes. She later attended the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, obtaining her title as a specialist in Orthodontics. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University with honors.
