Dr John Schwerer

Dr. John Schwerer is a Florida native, being born and raised in Fort Pierce. He has been serving this area since 1987 in the practice of restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Schwerer is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Dr. Schwerer received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. After three years of advanced clinical dentistry training in the United States Navy, he was awarded a Certificate of Commendation and Navy Achievement medal for outstanding contributions in General Dentistry. In the practice of General Dentistry, he has acquired over 5,000 hours of advanced dental education, with an emphasis on all phases of restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry including: Adult Dentistry Children’s Dentistry Cosmetic Dentistry (Tooth whitening, bonding and porcelain veneers) Implant Therapy Oral Surgery & Extractions Periodontics (Gum health) Restorative Dentistry (Crowns, bridges, dentures and partial dentures) Root Canal Therapy Temporomandibular Joint Therapy (TMJ) Sleep Apnea. Dr. Schwerer is actively involved with the following dental organizations: Implant Study Club of the Treasure Coast Atlantic Coast Dental Society.
