Dr. Millward is an Orlando native, graduating from Boone High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Cell Science (cum laude) and also his dental degree from the University of Florida. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Millward stayed in Gainesville and practiced dentistry there for 10 years before coming "home." We are pleased to announce that the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) has awarded Dr. Millward with the prestigious Mastership Award, one of the most rigorous continuing dental education awards offered today. Dr. Millward completed 1,100 hours of coursework in the 16 areas of dentistry to receive the Mastership Award from the AGD, a professional association of more than 40,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up-to-date in the profession through continuing education. This achievement marks a significant milestone in his career, because the award demonstrates his long-term commitment to go above and beyond continuing education requirements to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and superior patient care. Dr. Millward is committed to higher dental education in order to provide the best care possible. He is an active member of many organizations, including; Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando, International Team for Implantology.
