Dr Mark Kane,

Dr. Mark Kane was raised in Ventura County and attended UCSB as an undergraduate while studying Microbiology. He pursued his interest in health, completing a Masters in Public Health at Cal. As a published author, Dr. Mark Kane has contributed to expanding knowledge in the field of infectious disease. After working as a researcher in public health, Dr. Mark Kane wanted to work in direct patient care at the University of California, San Francisco where he received his DDS degree. He feels very fortunate to have great mentors at the office, lifelong family friend Dr. Stephen Kerper, wonderful dad Dr. Brad Kane, and sister Dr. Barbara Kane. Dr. Mark Kane strives to practice dentistry with a particular focus on evidence based dentistry, ensuring clinical practice integrates the best available scientific evidence with clinical expertise and patient preferences. He aims to provide the highest quality of care possible in all aspects of care from general to cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crowns & bridge, and pediatric dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Ventura/Santa Barbara County Dental Society. When not at the office, Dr. Mark Kane enjoys going on long walks with his wife and dog, traveling the world and playing the occasional round of golf.
