Courtney Schlenker Nowicki, DDS, MS, FICOI, provides patients of all ages with the highest quality of dental care in a patient-oriented environment at the Center for Dental Excellence East Lake in Tarpon Springs, Florida. Dr. Nowicki is a native of Wapakoneta, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Toledo. After graduating, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Nowicki completed her residency in general practice, training in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, implants, root canals, and dental reconstruction. Therefore, she can offer a wide range of treatment options to patients that would, in many offices, be referred out. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and the Academic Honor Society (equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa in dentistry). She also completed the University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program (GPR). Dr. Nowicki received training in the DAWSON & L.D. Pankey restorative dental principles. In 2015, she received The International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award, The Virginia Dental Association Mission of Mercy Award of Excellence, and The Brown Award.
