Dr. Brian Karshen graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1996. He completed his Certificate in Periodontology from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1999, educated in surgical and non-surgical techniques for treating periodontal disease and placing dental implants. Dr. Karshen follows rigorous continuing education, is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society (former President), and Elevated Dentistry Study Club. In his free time, he enjoys family baseball games, his sons' sports and band, and community involvement.
