Dr Tyler May

Dr. Tyler May understands that going to the dentist can be accompanied with a little bit of anxiety. This is because he vividly recalls his fear of going to the dentist himself. It wasn’t until he had graduated from Wasatch High that he decided to pursue a career in dentistry. “Because of the fear I had, I am always trying to make sure the patient is comfortable and possibly enjoying themselves”. In 2005, Dr. May married his sweetheart, Sunni, and they set off for dental school in 2007 at The Ohio State University. After graduating in 2011, they moved to Amarillo, TX to practice for two years and then moved back to Utah to work in Salt Lake City. During this time, Dr. May was able to train to provide endodontics, dental implants, and oral surgery by spending time at specialty offices, attending mini-residencies, and taking continuing education courses. Dr. May acquired TimberRidge Dental in 2015 and will always be grateful for the opportunity to come back to Heber City to practice dentistry. As the saying goes, “If you enjoy what you do, then you will never work another day in your life.” This is how Dr. May would describe how he feels about doing dentistry and having such a wonderful team to work with. Dr. May is a Heber City dentist who cares about his community and enjoys taking part in community events.
