Dr Scott Smith

Dr. Smith was raised in Augusta, GA. He began his undergrad pursuits at the University of Georgia and later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987 at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith began his career with his private practice in Loganville, GA until 2015. In 2016, he joined the PFD team and has been an essential part of the company since. Dr. Smith is committed to learning all aspects of dentistry and has completed continuing educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and implants. He recently completed training for cosmetic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institution and has implemented those teachings into our practice. He has been on several dental mission trips to Romania and Brazil. As well as, worked with Georgia Dental Mission of Mercy and participated with volunteer groups to provide dental care to local residents within Georgia. Dr. Scott Smith proudly provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry care at Palmetto Family Dental, serving men, women, and families at four convenient locations in Fayetteville, Palmetto, McDonough, and Zebulon, Georgia.
