Dr Katherine Roman

Dr. Roman is originally from Colombia. She received her Dental degree in 2003 from Universidad Del Valle, Cali, Colombia. She worked as a general dentist before coming to the US. Dr. Roman then moved to Miami to complete three years of Postgraduate Program at Nova Southeastern University. She has also earned a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, Operative Dentistry and a Master’s Degree of Science. During her residency, she accomplished comprehensive and extensive training in all aspects of esthetics, contemporary restorative dentistry, surgical extractions, restoration of implants, removable prosthodontics, management of special needs and medically compromised patients. She believes that life evolves every day. She is always looking for knowledge and ways in which technology can improve her patients comfort and oral health. Dr. Roman has completed numerous continuing education courses and regularly attends seminars across the country. Her expertise and excellence as a Cosmetic Dentist has granted her multiple appearances on local and national media to offer her expert commentary regarding oral health and latest technology in dentistry. She makes regular appearances on renowned networks such as Univision. Her expertise has been recognized by receiving an award in 2015 for excellence in general dentistry. Dr. Roman is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Dental Association. Dr. Roman considers that Dentistry is a career that requires dedication, passion and commitment to learning on a daily basis.
