Originally from Miami, Dr. Jaime A. Tobon is a veteran of the United States Army and a former Sergeant. His Army tours included Germany, Honduras, and Fort Riley, Kansas. After receiving an honorable discharge Dr. Tobon decided to attend Kansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City. While in dental school Dr. Tobon completed oral surgery externships at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, and at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Upon graduation, Dr. Tobon decided to further his education by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Dr. Tobon uses this advanced training to help serve his patients. His main focus while in residency was in advanced oral surgery procedures including dental implant surgery as well as endodontics. Other interests include computer-guided implant placement and TMD therapy. Dr. Tobon is committed to dental excellence and continually furthering his education, proven by his Fellowship status as a credentialed member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
