Dr. Zimdars grew up in Peoria, IL and attended Richwoods High School. He received his undergraduate degree with a BA in History from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. He then went on to receive his DDS degree at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. After graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Louisville Medical Center and the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Louisville, KY. Dr. Zimdars then practiced for several years in the Chicagoland area before returning to Peoria. He enjoys all facets of general dentistry with a special interest in Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, International Team for Implantology and serves on the Governing Board of the Peoria District Dental Society. His hobbies include golf, tennis, travel, theater and history.
