Dr. Michael Moon is a second generation dentist who grew up in Peoria. He graduated from Creighton University with a degree in economics in 1990. Dr. Moon went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago for his dental degree, graduating in 1994. He returned home in 1995, working for the Peoria County Heath Department treating children, transitioning into private practice, and coming to Washington in 2002. Dr. Moon has been married to his wife Harriet since 2000, and is the proud father to Molly, born in 2002. They have 2 dogs, Sully and Beatrice. In his spare time, Dr. Moon enjoys cooking, hunting and medicore golf. Dr. Moon is the past president of the Peoria District Dental Society, and is a member in the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Association.
