Omar Alazzawi is a dedicated dental professional hailing from Mesopotamia, Iraq. He commenced his academic journey at Baghdad College, which was founded by American Jesuits. Omar’s ardor for improving people’s smiles led him to pursue dentistry instead of medicine. He earned his first dental degree at Baghdad University School of Dentistry, where he displayed remarkable proficiency, knowledge, and a strong sense of responsibility towards patients. After completing his studies, Omar gained invaluable experience in both public and private sectors, serving diverse patient groups, and contributing to the growth of dental professionals as a faculty member at Almustansirya Dental School in Baghdad. Due to the war in Iraq, Omar moved to the United States and enrolled in Indiana Dental School as an international dental student.
