Dr. Hallisy is a native San Franciscan who grew up spending summers in Sonoma County. Dr. Hallisy has divided her time between San Francisco and Sonoma for almost three decades. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Francisco and graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry (UCSF) in 1988. Dr. Hallisy is committed to partnering with her patients to help them achieve and maintain their maximum level of oral health. Her philosophy centers on patient education, prevention, and helping patients understand the link between their oral health and overall wellness. Dr. Hallisy provides each patient with comprehensive care in a mutually respectful environment, which is the principle at the foundation of her practice. Dr. Hallisy has received advanced training in nutrition, implant restorations, patient safety, and infection prevention and control. Outside of the office, Dr. Hallisy enjoys writing, gardening, photography, and travelling. She has been married to her husband John for 38 years, and has 2 sons, Daniel and Kevin, and a new daughter-in-law, Krista.
