Dr. Burk is a proud native Texan who earned his B.B.A. in Computer Science from Angelo State University. He then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1992. Following his graduation, Dr. Burk completed a year-long residency with the United States Navy and continued to serve for an additional four years. He opened his dental practice in 1998 and has been dedicated to serving the greater Austin area ever since. Dr. Burk and his wife, Beverly, have two children: Sara and John. Dr. Sara Burk has joined Burk Family Dentistry, while John is attending veterinary school at Kansas State University. Known for his fun sense of humor, Dr. Burk's eclectic tie collection reflects his personality, and he has a passion for antique clocks. In his spare time, he enjoys deep-sea fishing, spending time with his two dogs, and exploring the beautiful hill country with his family.
