Dr. Robles was born in Connecticut, but proudly raised in Mexico City, where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. After graduating dental school, she completed a year of hospital internship, where she provided dental treatment for underserved pregnant women. These educational experiences sparked an interest in the prevention and treatment of periodontal diseases, leading Dr. Robles to pursue a Periodontics specialty degree at the prestigious Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. After practicing as a periodontist for almost two years, she decided to further her education by completing specialty training at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!), where she earned a certificate in Periodontics with a Master of Science. During residency, Dr. Robles completed her research about the impact of e-cigarettes on oral wound healing and got certified to provide intravenous sedation. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Her favorite procedures include periodontal plastic and regenerative surgery.
