In college, Dr. Sanon originally considered pursuing a career in engineering. However, when his neighbor, an orthodontist, recommended a career in dentistry – Manish Sanon was intrigued. After spending time in his neighbor’s dental office, Dr. Sanon quickly fell in love with the personable, scientific, and hands-on approach dentistry had to offer. Growing up in Canada, Dr. Sanon moved to the U.S. to attend dental school. He graduated from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery and practiced in Manhattan and Rome, NY prior to opening his current office in Penfield, NY. Dr. Sanon’s Achievements Include: Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Is one of the only dentists in Penfield, NY, sustaining in the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Lecturing locally, especially in the field of “Infection Control in Dentistry.” Selected by the Consumer Research Council as one of the “Top Dentists in America.” Served as a member on the Board of Directors of OSAP, an organization dealing with health care infection control. Completed a one-year General Practice residency in Long Island and a one-year externship at SUNY Buffalo in Cosmetic Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Sanon is a current member of the following professional organizations: Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Seventh District Dental Society, Monroe County Dental Society.
