Dr. Shinebarger is a native of the area, born and raised in Hornell, NY. He wanted to return to Western New York after his dental training in an effort to give back to his local community. His career began at Dansville Dental Professionals in early 2009 and later founded Hornell Family Dental in 2017. Dr. Shinebarger has two boys, Carson and Preston as well as two dogs Jack and Lola. Active interests include reading, sports, fishing, astronomy, spending time riding side by side with the family, and restoring their home. Dr. Shinebarger received extensive post-graduate training during his AEGD residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. His AEGD training included all areas of general dentistry, such as the restoration of implants (implant supported dentures, bridges, and crowns), periodontal surgery, root canal therapy, and advanced cosmetic procedures such as crown lengthening and porcelain veneers. Dr. Shinebarger actively participates in all areas of continuing education and is an active member of The Academy of General Dentistry.
