Dr. Eckermann earned his undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher College in 1986 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University at Buffalo in 1990. After completing a residency at University Hospital in Syracuse, he was asked to stay on as a Clinical Assistant Professor for four additional years, mentoring dental residents before establishing his own practice in Rochester in 1995. For the past 30 years, he has proudly served the Greece community. He has advanced training in implant, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of the State of New York, the Monroe County Dental Society, and the Seventh District Dental Society. Dr. Eckermann previously had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Burgard for several years—and as her father, he is especially excited to join her once again in caring for our patients. This family connection makes his arrival particularly meaningful, allowing us to strengthen our tradition of family-centered dentistry, both in how we work together and in how we care for you.
