Dr. Magalhaes was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health from UMass Amherst, he attended the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland Maine. While in dental school, Dr. Magalhaes solidified his passion for public health and service, providing dental care to underserved communities in rural towns of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. He returned to southern New England, practicing in Rhode Island before moving back to the South Shore to be closer to family after the birth of his first child. Dr. Magalhaes is excited to have the opportunity to lead Kingston Bay Dentistry, formerly Hollis Dentistry. He shares Dr. Hollis’ passion for modern dentistry, materials, and techniques, and is always focusing on providing the best care for his patients.
