Dr. Lazaro F. Gavilla earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. He then completed a two-year residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and spent the next year as Chief Resident for the Advance Education in General Dentistry Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Gavilla received training in Comprehensive Treatment Planning, including full-mouth rehabilitation and Serial Extraction Protocol for implant patients, cosmetic dentistry, and complex cases. He has remained current on the latest developments in his field, including those in cosmetics, digital, and implant dentistry. He also remains active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics, International Congress of Oral Implantology, and Hispanic Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Gavilla enjoys listening to music, boating, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
