No two days are ever the same in dentistry, and Dr. Perry wouldn’t have it any other way. For over a decade, he has enjoyed forming bonds with his patients and helping them with their unique dental needs and complex treatment challenges. Surrounded by a handpicked team he considers both friends and colleagues, he’s eager to show you what’s possible for your smile when you work with a prosthodontic specialist in Ponte Vedra Beach. Dr. Perry realized the dental profession was for him at a young age. He suffered a sports accident as a kid, resulting in dental trauma, so he ended up getting to know his dentist pretty well. Dr. Perry discovered that he respected the profession, valued their skillset, and appreciated the compassion they had for what they did every day. Having the opportunity to work with his hands and reconstruct someone’s mouth to be functional, healthy, and beautiful appealed to him on a deep level and brought him to where he is today. Attending the University of Florida, Dr. Perry earned a master’s in nutrition and spent time working in a dental lab before graduating from dental school. He went on to obtain a second master’s degree in prosthodontics with a thesis focused on dental biomaterial mechanics. In addition to completing a three-year, full-time residency (during which he served as chief resident), Dr. Perry has taken several hundred hours of continuing education. Today, he is board-certified in prosthodontics, having passed the written exam and all three oral exam requirements within four months of finishing his program. Dr. Perry completed three years of additional training in dental care after receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. This allowed him to specialize as a prosthodontist – an expert in replacing anything in the mouth.
