Dr. Barry Greenfield graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1988. Following his graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at Metropolitan Hospital from 1988-1989. Dr. Greenfield received his Certificate in Periodontics from Rutgers University in 1991 and has been practising periodontics since he opened his practice the same year. Dr. Greenfield believes it is vital to stay on top of the latest research, practices, and techniques in periodontics and dedicates himself to hours of continuing education each year. “We treat our patients the way we’d expect to be treated if we were in their shoes. Sometimes, patients don’t really need the procedures that other dentists tell them they need. We’re honest, upfront, and true to our word when we believe you need – or don’t need – a particular procedure. Our goal is to help you, not our wallets.” Dr. Greenfield has performed nearly 50,000 surgeries throughout the course of his career in dentistry, and believes the latest LANAP® and LAPIP® procedures for gum disease treatment and dental implants are groundbreaking alternatives to previous treatment approaches. When not in the office, Dr. Greenfield enjoys sports, going to the gym, hiking and kayaking.
