Dr. Wei Huang - Parise received her DDS in 1999 from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine with a Navy scholarship. Upon her graduation, she completed one year of residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Naval Dental Center Far East in Yokosuka, Japan. Dr. Huang - Parise continued her active duty as a naval officer in Japan and Seattle for 5 more years, providing comprehensive dental care to American sailors, marines, soldiers, airmen and their families. She was a three-time recipient for the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her outstanding services. During her last 7 years of active reserve with the U.S. Navy, Dr. Wei Huang - Parise was promoted to the rank of Commander. Currently, she continues to be affiliated with the Navy reserve. Dr. Huang - Parise is committed to life-long learning and improving her knowledge and skills. She stays up to date on the most current dental procedures in order to offer her patients the highest quality of care. She has taken numerous continuing education courses, which has earned her prestigious recognition as the Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). She is a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the New York State Dental Association.
