I moved to Maine with my family when I was 13 and graduated from Portland High School four years later. I went on to attend Bates College in Lewiston where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology. After a stint as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School in Boston, I attended the New York University College of Dentistry where I earned my DDS degree. Following dental school, I completed my residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. I have been with the practice since returning to Maine in 2007. I have been inspired to become a health care professional by my late grandmother who was an operating room nurse. I chose to become a dentist because to me dentistry is the perfect mix of science and art. It is extremely rewarding to help patients maintain their oral health and achieve their aesthetic goals. I place high priority on keeping my clinical skills up-to-date to provide my patients with the best possible care. I regularly attend continuing education courses and seminars and I am a pre-fellow of Academy of General Dentistry. I am also a member of American Dental Association and Maine Dental Association. I live in Falmouth with my husband and two boys. I love educating children about dental health and regularly volunteer at local schools, including the Falmouth school system. I also enjoy cooking, running, learning languages, and traveling with my family.
