Dr. Gushiken was born and raised on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) School of Dentistry. Her education and experiences have shaped her dedication to providing compassionate, patient-centred dental care. Dr. Gushiken is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental visits. She values communication, trust, and education, striving to make each appointment a positive experience while supporting long-term oral health. Outside of the office, Dr. Gushiken enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and trying new recipes. She looks forward to forming lasting connections with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
