Dr Michelle Falbo

Dr. Michelle Falbo was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. Growing up, dentistry was always a part of life. Her great-grandfather started a practice in a small mining town nestled in the Minnesota Northwoods, where her family continued to practice dentistry for over a century. As a child, she spent many hours in the dental office - learning about teeth and finding her own spark for a future in dentistry. She knew she wanted to serve her community in a meaningful way, and carrying on the family legacy of dentistry was an easy choice. Dr. Michelle attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. From there, she attended dental school at Creighton University in Nebraska, where she served as class president for four years. Upon her graduation, she was awarded the Dr. David A. Reinsch Humanitarian Scholarship Award for embodying the spirit of humanitarianism, advocacy, and community service. She was also awarded the Eleanor J. Bushee Award by the American Association of Women Dentists for academic excellence and leadership. Dr. Michelle is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is now the fourth generation of dentists to serve her community, and the first female among them to do so. Northwoods Dental pays homage to the former generations that paved the way for Dr. Michelle's passion for dentistry. Her goal is to provide the best service with the latest technology, so patients don't have stress about their dental care. Outside of the office, Dr. Michelle and her husband Kevin love to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest. You'll often find them hiking, running, camping, and enjoying time at the coast. When at home, you'll find them giving all the attention to their dog, Louie, and cat, Simon.
