Dr Chelsea Toussaint

Dr. Chelsea Toussaint, DMD, is a board-certified general dentist and graduate of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Originally from northern Maine, Dr. Toussaint brings more than 15 years of experience in public health dentistry, providing compassionate care to children, individuals experiencing homelessness, and underserved populations across the state. Her dental career began as a dental hygienist, graduating summa cum laude from the University of New England in 2008. Motivated by her desire to enhance the comfort and quality of dental care, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in dental school, Dr. Toussaint studied alongside Dr. Rachael Creisher, where the two became close friends and discovered a shared passion for providing dental care in a kind, welcoming, and patient-centered way. Dr. Toussaint focuses on education, prevention, and teamwork, helping each patient feel informed, supported, and confident in their care. Her gentle and empathetic approach ensures patients of all ages feel at ease in the dental chair. Outside the office, Dr. Toussaint is a talented musical artist and enjoys painting, videography, sailing, and traveling. She currently resides in Portland, Maine, where she continues to bring her warmth, artistry, and dedication to every patient she serves.
