Dr Prafull Das Gupta

Prafull das Gupta, a 2021 class of advanced standing DMD program graduates from Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston University, is a highly skilled dentist. He earned his first dental degree in a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 2008, where he excelled with certificates of honor in many subjects and a Gold Medal for best clinical performance as an Intern. He continued his journey and completed his three-year residence in Periodontics and Implant Surgeries in 2013. In a well-rounded dental career, he has taught graduate students as a senior resident and has had 6-year experience of owning and running a private dental office. He is passionate about making oral health more accessible, and he worked towards it throughout his career by organizing and participating in various complimentary Oral Health screening camps. He has delivered numerous lectures on both professional and social forums to bust the myths about oral health and treatments. Dr. Gupta has continued to evolve as a professional by attending conferences and courses and is abreast with all cutting-edge technology in dentistry, like CAD CAM, Robotic implants, best practices for endodontic procedures, minimally invasive surgeries, lasers, and painless anesthesia, to name a few. In 2022, Dr. Gupta delivered a Keynote lecture at the Northwest Pacific Dental Conference in Settle on Navigated implant surgeries. Dr. Gupta has worked both in government-funded programs and private setups in the U.S. during his tenure as the Dental Director at a health center in CT; he formulated and reviewed policies to enhance comfort and safety for patients with dental treatment needs. His experience of delivering dental care to underprivileged elementary school kids via a mobile dental unit in Rhode Island has been one of the most satisfying. Dr. Gupta is passionate about delivering comprehensive and comfortable dental care customized to patients’ needs. Besides dentistry, Dr. Gupta loves to spend time at his gym, hiking, and cooking. He has done some stand-up gigs, theater, and dance performances.
