Dr Hamza Belhaj

Dr. Belhaj received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2014. He completed a three-year residency program in Periodontics & Implants at Rutgers School of Dentistry, where he also earned a Master of Dental Science. Dr. Belhaj is board certified from the American Board of Periodontology. He has previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry at the department of Periodontics and the department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences. Dr. Belhaj provides both non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment as well as implant dentistry and implant site development. He has extensive training in advanced surgical techniques such as Wilkodontics and pinhole procedures. A skilled periodontist, Dr. Belhaj is an energetic and caring practitioner. He has a warm personality and gentle approach to treatment. Dr. Belhaj is married and has 3 young children. He enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time with his family and friends.
