Dr. Marie Kershner grew up watching her father practice. She saw how much he enjoyed his patients and the services he provided for them. While attending St. Pius X High School, she would work at the office helping out however she could. After graduating from High School, she decided to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene. She attended Thomas Jefferson University and graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. After one year practicing as a hygienist, she decided to expand her dental education and went to dental school. While in dental school, Dr. Kershner was a member of the Endodontic Honor Society and the Stomatognathic Honor Society. Dr. Kershner was awarded the J. George Coslet Award for excellence in Periodontics. She graduated with honors from Temple University School of Dentistry. Since graduation, Dr. Kershner has taken numerous continuing education classes on implant dentistry, restorative dentistry, periodontics and pharmacology. She continues to stay on the cutting edge of technology, treatment, and dental products by continuously learning about dentistry and the latest dental techniques. Dr. Kershner enjoys practicing beside her father and her sister. She enjoys getting to know her patients. In Dr. Kershner’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, scrapbooking and bike riding. She also plays golf and tennis.
