Dr. Lana Hashim received her Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. She was awarded a certificate of merit by the American Academy of Oral Medicine for her achievement and proficiency in the field of oral medicine. She also received an award for her leadership in organized dentistry. Dr. Lana completed her residency in general dentistry at the renowned Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she developed extensive knowledge in emergency dentistry and served the disadvantaged community. Dr. Lana is well-versed in all aspects of general dentistry and is particularly focused on cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular joint disorders and sleep apnea. She strives for excellence with great attention to detail and is passionate about making her patients feel confident in their smiles and relieving their pain. She believes in the “whole person” approach to dentistry and prides herself in actively listening to her patients’ needs in order to create tailored and individualized treatment plans. She is actively involved in the dental community and is passionate about community service, particularly at the Special Olympics performing dental exams.
