Dr. Perry was born and raised near the Plaza in Kansas City. He attended Rockhurst High School and then the University of Missouri-Columbia on the C.O.P.S. Police Survivors Scholarship. He earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri- Kansas City in 2004. He received an academic scholarship during dental school from the American College of Dentists, for exemplifying excellence through outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions to dentistry and society. Dr. Perry is a member of the American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association. He has volunteered his skills through service and outreach in multiple outlets including the MDA’s Missouri Mission of Mercy, UMKC’s Dental Care with a Heart, Dental outreach to Venezuelan orphanage, Hope House dental service volunteering, and he was even featured on KCTV-5 Problem Solvers giving a KC woman back her smile! An active supporter of JDRF, Dr. Perry, and his family organize the Parkville Colour Run to help raise over $15,000 for Type 1 Diabetes research. Dr. Perry says he wanted to be a dentist for the opportunity to make people smile, seeing dentistry as the perfect blend of health and artistry. He is avid about health and fitness and recognizes that the mouth is the portal to your entire body. Dr. Perry’s style is laid back and comfortable. He is easy to talk to and able to explain treatment in terms you can understand. By utilizing the latest in video technology, you can view the inside of your own mouth. Outside the office, Dr. Perry is happily married to his college sweetheart, Sara, from Mizzou. They have two beautiful children and a dog, Ace. Dr. P loves spending time with his family and traveling. He loves kids and has enjoyed coaching YMCA basketball and NSA soccer teams! Family travels have taken him all over. Whether it is practicing his Spanish in Mexico or being inspired by the Grand Canyon and Mount Rushmore, Dr. P proudly displays his Royals cap! He enjoys visiting other places but relishes returning home to his beloved Kansas City, MO.
