Dr Amir Fakhrzadeh

Is a board-certified Periodontist with clinical and research expertise in implantology and regenerative dental biomaterials in both academic and private practice settings. He received his D.M.D degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Then went on to complete a NIH T32 postdoctoral research fellowship in Regenerative Medicine at the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials. He completed his clinical specialty training in Periodontics & Implant Surgery as well as a M.S. in Biomedical Science at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and New Jersey Medical School, respectively. His clinical, academic, and research interests are focused primarily on translational research, clinical education, and clinical implementation of dental implant therapy and implantable biomaterials. Most importantly he loves dentistry, his patients, his family and has served the central NJ area striving for the highest quality of care for over a decade. His goal is to make every patient feel as comfortable and confident as possible in taking ownership of their oral health and a beautiful smile. He enjoys spending time with family, friends, and ”attempting” to stay in shape by playing soccer on the weekends and playing golf in the rare chance he has 5 hours of spare time.
