Dr. Anekwe was born in Lagos, Nigeria but spent most of her formative years in Northwest Indiana. Her inspiration to pursue dentistry was derived from a commitment to provide a better dental experience for patients than she had growing up. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in biology and chemistry, from Indiana University Northwest. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and went on to further expand her knowledge and skillset by completing a General Practice Residency at St. Vincent’s Charity Medical Center/Cleveland Dental Institute in Cleveland, OH. After training, Dr. Anekwe and her husband transitioned to the Northeast Dallas area to be closer to family. Dr. Anekwe enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to lifelong learning. She is married with a beautiful daughter. She enjoys reading, staying active and discovering delicious new dishes with friends and family.
