Dr. Swenson completed his BS in Wildlife Biology from Brigham Young University. For dental school, he attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Swenson spent six years in the United States Army Dental Corps, including a 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Hood, Texas, and service at Fort Irwin, California. Doctor Swenson is a member of the American Board of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, Utah Dental Association, and the Academy of LDS Dentists. Dr. Swenson is one of only a few dentists to be Board Certified by the American Board of General Dentistry and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors with his family riding horses, fishing, hiking, and skiing. Dr. Swenson and his wife Kelly reside in Salem and are the parents of three boys and one girl.
